Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield allows you to add maternity benefits for an additional cost to their Premier Plus plan, which offers robust benefits for routine and unexpected medical care. It features the lowest levels of co-insurance (the amount you pay for health care) and has a choice of prescription drug coverage options as well as an annual vision screening exam with a co-payment that you pay. Since this plan has a higher level of benefits, the premiums are typically more than premiums for the insurer’s other policies.
